We FINALLY moved into our new studio! This means so much in the way of growth potential. No longer are we trying to squeeze merchandise into a 7′ x 9′ room. I should have taken a picture of it before we moved. Preparing orders for shipping was challenging, to say the least. We got to remove all 8 cases of shipping materials from the dining room in our house- which means we can actually enjoy a meal in the dining room of our house. Not that we will, because it’s far more fun to eat dinner on the sofa watching whatever happens to be on HBO at the moment. That or reruns of “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” because Robert has something of an unhealthy obsession.
But I digress. I would like to give a special shout out to one of my besties, Antonio, for not only braving the IKEA showrooms with us, but for actually taking the time to help us assemble everything. It only took us 6 hours with all three of us, no big deal. I hear there’s actually a job that pays people to spend hours assembling IKEA furniture. I guess if the store doesn’t work out… And, Antonio, even though they hate the Gays, I owe you a Chik-Fil-A. But, we’re going on a Sunday and I’m definitely wearing something from the Heroin Kids- just to make a point.
So, I finally have a guest room in my house again. Everything is finally organized at the office. Shelving has been installed and we have so much crap there isn’t really enough space for roller skating anymore. If I want to do that I suppose I’ll have to brave the great outdoors. Either way, I’ll live- it’s all just incentive to grow into a bigger space with more stuff. Does anyone see where this is going? Please buy tremendous amounts of clothing so that all of my wildest dreams will come true. Help me roller skate again.
